Support

Do I need an account?

No. Open PairSend, start on one device, and join from the other with the code or QR. There is no traditional account setup just to send something.

How does the second device join?

Start the session on the first device. The second device joins with the code or by scanning the live QR shown on the first device.

Are files stored anywhere long term?

No. PairSend is designed for live transfer, not for building a permanent cloud folder. The session ends after the handoff is done.

Your session

What if a transfer does not go through?

Try the handoff again, make sure both devices stay open, or switch to a steadier connection. PairSend is built for live transfer, so the clearest path is still to start fresh when a session stalls.

What do trusted devices change?

After a successful session, you can save a trusted device on your own device. Paid plans make that repeat handoff path part of the upgrade story, so you can skip scanning every time.

Other questions

What do paid plans actually add?

Paid plans add convenience and headroom: saved devices, higher daily send limits, and more daily transfer room.

Does paying change the encryption model?

No. Paid plans are about convenience and daily room, not about changing the privacy promise.

Where is my paid plan connected?

Your device keeps the connection to your paid access locally, so PairSend can recognize what is available without turning the product into a traditional account system.
